New platforms

The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board launches its Trade website and Press Room

The Tourist Board launched two new digital platforms during the last quarter of the year in order to provide and enhance services for tourism professionals and the media.

On the one hand, the Trade website is a useful tool to help the tourism sector promote and market the destination. The platform is aimed at tour operators, travel agents and companies that require relevant information and promotional materials about the destination. The website features different sections that include testimonials, presentations, promotional videos, facts and figures and the region’s inbound travel agencies.

On the other hand, the Press Room is a freely accessed communication platform designed to regularly provide journalists, opinion leaders and content creators with organised and relevant information about both the destination and the Tourist Board. It contains five sections –press releases, image archive, featured articles, story ideas and services– and is available in four languages.

Both digital platforms are tools designed to improve the relationship with professionals and the media in order to enhance loyalty as well as amplify and improve the destination’s image.
