New edition of the greenways catalogue
The greenways catalogue of the counties of Girona incorporates the Campdevànol historic highway and cattle track and the “Little Train” route between Palamós and Palafrugell.

The Greenways Consortium of the counties of Girona and the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona are publishing a new edition of the Greenways catalogue with recently incorporated greenways suitable for cycle tourism. Two additional stretches join the three existing greenways. Furthermore, new companies and tourism products are incorporated while a large amount of user information has been updated. This publication offers useful and practical information on the 125 kilometres that stretch from the Pirineu de Girona to the Costa Brava, covering and crossing five of the eight counties of Girona, while adding linear routes between neighbouring towns.
The new Greenways catalogue has a print run of 20,000 copies and is initially republished in three languages (Catalan, Spanish and English), although it will later be published in French, German and Dutch. This material is distributed through the tourist offices of the counties of Girona, the network of offices of the ACT (Catalan Tourism Agency), the town councils of the county and tourism fairs attended by the Patronat de Turisme or the Active Tourism Club of the ACT. It will also be publicised in specialised active tourism, travel, sports and tourism media outlets of issuing markets, as well as through public bodies with competences in this area.
