The Tourist Board organises a fam trip for three Swiss tour operators, a press trip for a Scottish newspaper and a blog trip for a French blogger, and collaborates with the international marketing campaign, “Runaway Bride Girona”.
In January a fam trip was organised for three Swiss tour operators to showcase the range of activities available in the province of Girona with the focus on sports tourism and the trail running sector in particular. There was also a press trip for a Scottish newspaper interested in discovering the nature and active tourism options available in the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees. And, lastly, a blog trip was arranged for a French blogger interested in the cultural options available in the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees, particularly in the monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants and its surroundings. In addition, the entity gave its support to the international campaign “Runaway Bride Girona”, a video starring the Girona instagramer Absolutely Khaoula, playing the part of a bride changing her mind on the way to the wedding and running away in Girona.
