Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona ambassadors Pep Guardiola, the Roca brothers and Paco Pérez in Germany

A series of business meetings and promotional presentations were celebrated in the German cities of Munich, Berlin and Hamburg on the 9, 10 and 11 of February, respectively. Segmented by the tourism products offered by Girona’s tourist destinations, the meetings and presentations were attended by over 130 Germany travel agents and tour operators and 90 media outlets with the participation of 30 organisations and companies from the province of Girona. FC Bayern Munich coach Pep Guardiola, the Roca brothers from El Celler de Can Roca restaurant in Girona and Paco Pérez, owner of Miramar restaurant in Llançà and Cinc in Berlin, were also on hand during the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona promotional and commercial activities, which were driven by the Girona Provincial Council’s Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board and targeted at the German market with the aim of encouraging German tourists to visit Girona destinations. The next event on the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board’s promotional calendar in Germany is the ITB international tourism trade fair, celebrated in Berlin in March.
