Fairs in outbound tourist markets

The Costa Brava and the Pirineu de Girona are promoted in three international tourism fairs and at Navartur (Pamplona) with a dedicated stand, accompanied by ten organisations and companies from the Girona tourism sector.

MARCH 2014

The Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona will participate actively in eighteen national and international tourism fairs in 2011, promoting and marketing the tourism products and services of the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona destinations.

This year, the Patronat de Turisme will attend and participate in the leading national and international tourism fairs with the goal of boosting professional initiatives aimed directly at national tour operators and specialised international operators. Contact will be made with specialised operators to give them an in-depth look at the activities that can be scheduled in the destinations of the Girona area and how to schedule them. The goal is to become directly associated with the professional sector in terms of presence in its brochures, to make our businesses more closely involved with the sector and to boost our brands within the overall tourism offer.

The Patronat de Turisme began the year by attending Madrid's Fitur fair in January, while in February it took part in five national and international tourism fairs, where it promoted the destination and products including gastronomy, golf, culture, active tourism and nature, targeting both professionals and end customers.
