Campaign in France

Thiago Motta promotes the Costa Brava in France.

In accordance with the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board’s Action Plan for 2018 and in response to the demand from Girona’s tourist sector, between April and June a special publicity campaign is being carried out to reinforce the Costa Brava brand’s presence on the French market. The campaign’s key element is a television commercial involving the participation and testimony of Thiago Motta, the París Saint-Germain footballer and ex-player for Football Club Barcelona, who has close ties with Catalonia. The 60-second advert is broadcast on the second most popular French TV news channel, LCI, belonging to the TF1 media group. The campaign has been launched under the slogan “The Costa Brava, as always, as never before” and is complemented with featured articles on the principal tourist sector websites including TripAdvisor, Voyages-SNCF, eDreams, Routard, Liligo, Lastminute, ViaMichelin and Petit Futé. The destination is also publicised on the websites of WeTransfer and Easyvoyage. To round off, following the latest trends, the campaign involves the support of key influential figures on social media to recommend the attractions of the Costa Brava to their followers.
