Book: Costa Brava. Panoràmiques d’avui

A new book is published with panoramic views of the present-day Costa Brava, creating a special link between the reader and the area.

Costa Brava. Panoràmiques d’avui is a follow-up to the first book published half a year ago by the Efadós publishing house, entitled Costa Brava panoràmica. On this occasion, the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava has collaborated with the publishing house to show readers images of the present-day Costa Brava, photographs of the coastline that can be enjoyed today, still imbued with the beauty and character that has attracted so many people, both from the local area and abroad. The book captures the unique nature of this Girona coastline in all its intensity, which together with the subsequent tourism boom has ensured the survival of its genuine character.

The book contains a presentation by the President of the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona, Enric Vilert, a foreword by the journalist Josep Cuní and texts by Josep Playà Maset to accompany Julián Guisado's photographs, which evoke with great sensitivity the evolution of the country’s history, built by the daily toil of its men and women and by the enduring contributions of individuals from the world of culture and the arts. The pages of this book present a view of the present-day Costa Brava, creating a special link between the reader and the area.

Like the previous book in the collection, this publication includes top quality large-format photographs of the Costa Brava. The book is 188 pages long, has an initial print run of 3,100 copies and has been available for purchase since 7^th April. The Patronat de Turisme will distribute copies of the book in official and promotional functions while the Efadós publishing house will employ its usual distribution and sales channels (Nus de Llibres) to distribute it in Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, Northern Catalonia, the Community of Valencia and Madrid.
