American Express – Viajes Barceló recommends the Costa Brava to its corporate customers

Between 12 and 15 June, one hundred seventy sales representatives from American Express' Spanish offices held their annual company convention in the Girona province at the Hotel Melià Golf Vichy Catalán and the Tourist Board's Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau assisted them by organising a programme of related activities. The American Express—Viajes Barceló travel agents ended their convention with a dinner at the Mas Marroch banquet space of El Celler de Can Roca which was also attended by twenty-one company members of the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau. On Saturday morning, 14 June, a triathlon at the lake of Banyoles was organised for the travel agents, which concluded with the awarding of prizes and a donation from Amex to the Mascasadevall Foundation. Alongside the triathlon, a corporate social responsibility activity took place with Amex professionals and the disabled association El Coiet. This activity was supported by the Banyoles City Council and co-ordinated by the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau.
