The Girona-Costa Brava Airport tourist office obtains the Q for tourism quality seal

The Girona province holds 37 Q for tourism quality seals, which are awarded by the ICTE (Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality) to rural accommodation establishments, campsites, natural parks, beaches, ski resorts, restaurants and tourist information offices.
In April, the Girona-Costa Brava Airport tourist office, run by the Directorate General for Tourism of the Government of Catalonia and the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, was awarded the Q for tourism quality seal of the ICTE.
To obtain this seal of quality, the Girona-Costa Brava Airport tourist office has had to meet the targets set by the auditors, who have analysed and evaluated the quality of the provision of its services, its reliability and the professionalism of its personnel in dealing with the users and customers of the facility.
An initiative of the State Secretariat for Tourism and the autonomous communities of Spain, the Q for quality seal is synonymous with prestige, distinction, reliability and thoroughness for the tourism establishments that hold it. It is also a valuable promotional tool.
Catalonia is Spain's fifth-ranked autonomous community in terms of the number of Q for tourism quality seals held by tourism establishments and facilities, awarded by the ICTE. Catalonia currently holds 154 quality seals of which 37 are in the province of Girona.
