The bustling tourist activity in the Girona destinations reaches its peak in the summer. As it unfolds, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board is keeping close tabs on the season, which is proving to be satisfactory, while awaiting official data on occupancy and visitor behaviour. Externally, the organisation is taking specific actions to promote the destination’s festivals, as well as actions aimed at international tour operators and professionals in the business tourism sector, among others. Notably, it has partnered with Girona Futbol Club, a LaLiga and Champions League team, to promote the natural attractions and scenery of the Girona region among visiting fans.
