There have been more actions targeting both Spanish and international distribution channels and event and incentive travel programmers.
On 5 and 6 February, the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau partnered with the Palau de Congressos de Girona, the Lloret Convention Bureau and Evenia Hotels at the AMW Association Meetings workshop organised in Pamplona. At this event, 35 meetings were held with representatives from Spanish associations and Girona was proposed as the venue for hosting a major congress in 2026.
Following that, on 11 February, the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau and six corporate club members (Escampa Hotels, Sallés Hotels, URH Hoteliers, L’Azure Hotel, the La Ballena Alegre campsite and Sagalés) took part in the action organised by Eventoplus Group in Madrid, MISEventoPlus2025, a professional event focused on the Spanish business tourism sector that was attended by 585 tourism professionals. During the action, 21 meetings were held with Spanish business tourism representatives and professionals.
Lastly, from 17 to 19 February, the DO Empordà Wine Route took part for the first time in the Wine & Travel Week workshop held in Oporto, Portugal. This international event is devoted to promoting wine tourism and was attended by 200 professionals. During the workshop, meetings were held with some 40 travel agents and international communication media with the goal of promoting the Costa Brava's wine tourism attractions.
