Intensive participation in international events, workshops and specialist professional conferences.
On 9 November, the Unique Premium Marketing Club was present at the Luxury Spain Connects with UK Luxury Tourism event in London, promoting the unique, high-end products, services and experiences offered by the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees to some 20 British agencies and tour operators, including Luxe Privé, Oliver’s Travel, KP Luxury Travel and Caribtours, among others.
On 13 and 14 November, the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau attended the MICE Place at Marseille, where the club and Brava Hoteles met with some 30 corporate customers operating in the sector from different parts of France. In addition, from 14 to 16 November, the club organised a marketing agenda with 15 agencies specialised in event organisation from Marseille.
Simultaneously, also from 14 to 16 November, the organisation took part in the Spain Reloaded roadshow, organised by Turespaña in Switzerland and Austria to promote the Costa Brava to over a hundred agents from Geneva, Basle and Zürich. And, on the same dates, representatives from the Costa Brava Cruise Ports brand attended the International Cruise Summit 2023, held in Madrid, at which important issues on sustainability within the cruise industry and trends and strategies were discussed.
Subsequently, on 18 November, coinciding with the annual general meeting of the Ligue Régionale de Triathlon Occitanie, the Training Camps club organised an action in the French town of Trèbes to promote the specific triathlon offering available in the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees and the calendar of competitions for the 2023-2024 season to about 60 participants. Supported by Lloret Turisme, Roses and Evenia Travel Services, the event consisted of a presentation, followed by networking to generate contacts between the Tourist Board's members and triathlon clubs in the region of Occitania, giving rise to a number of direct business leads.
Lastly, on 22 and 23 November, the Board also attended the Jornada Interpirineus, which targets local companies and organisations belonging to the Pirineus de Catalunya tourism brand, with the aim of providing the latest information on international markets, promotion strategies and the most significant results obtained by recent actions.
