Participation is planned in 11 generic and 19 themed tourism trade fairs in 2024.
In 2024 the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees’ tourist products and services will be publicised through the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board’s participation in 30 regional, national and international tourism trade fairs.
The aim is to promote the region’s tourist options and new features in the main source markets for tourism to Girona’s destinations and, at the same time, maintain contact and relationships with professionals in the intermediary sector, travel portals, media and end users.
This year the Board will participate in three fairs for the first time: Free München in Munich, Termatalia in Ourense and Golfmesse in Zurich.
The Tourist Board plans to take part in 11 generic tourism fairs, seven of these from the Catalonia promotional space (Vakantiebeurs, CMT, Fitur, Holiday World, ITB, B-Travel and WTM) and four with its own stand (Free München, Navartur, Mercat del Ram and Expovacaciones). It will also attend 19 specialised fairs with its own stand (Fòrum Gastronòmic Girona, Fòrum Gastronòmic Barcelona, Salon de la Plongée, Salon Les Nautiques in Port Camargue, Copenhagen Bike Show, Rouleur Live, World Football Summit, Campionat del Món de Natació, Termatalia, Synergy - The Retreat Show, IAGTO, IGTM, FINE, IMEX, IBTM World, Seatrade Cruise Global and Seatrade Cruise Med) to promote the range of products and services in areas such as water sports, wine and gastronomy, wellness, golf, active and sports tourism, and business tourism, among others.
In January, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board will take part in five tourism fairs held in different parts of Europe: Vakantiebeurs in Utrecht (the Netherlands), Salon de la Plongée in Paris (France), CMT in Stuttgart (Germany), Fitur in Madrid and Holiday World Show in Dublin (Ireland).
