Tourism fairs

Participation at two tourism fairs addressed to the Catalan and Spanish end users and another international fair for professionals. 

The first half of 2019 closed with participation at the Mercat d’Escapades, in Barcelona, and at Expovacaciones, in Bilbao, two fairs that are addressed to the Catalan and Spanish end users. The tourism offering of Girona province was promoted at both fairs and sample activities were presented to attendees.  Elsewhere in the world, the Board also attended the International Luxury Travel Market in Singapore, a fair for professionals at which it promoted the province’s range of tourism and products and top-level, exclusive activities and services. Tourism representatives from Girona took part in an intense schedule of meetings with Asian travel agents and tour operators, who showed great interest in the destination.
