Tourism Diplomas
The Municipal Board of the Call de Girona and Hostal Empúries in L'Escala, recipients of awards of the Government of Catalonia

The Directorate General for Tourism of the Government of Catalonia awarded the Tourism Diploma of Catalonia 2013 in the category of “Improvement of knowledge and research applied to the tourism sector” to the Municipal Board of the Call de Girona (Jewish Quarter of Girona), and in the category of “Responsible tourism” to the Hostal Empúries establishment in L'Escala.
The awards ceremony took place at the National Theatre of Catalonia as part of the Catalonia Tourism Awards Night, scheduled to coincide with World Tourism Day on 26th September 2013.
