“Tourism 360º” training programme

Thirty-five professionals attended the training workshop on improving competitiveness based on sustainability

The “Improve your competitiveness: five marketing benefits of sustainability and authenticity” workshop led by Dr. Xavier Font Aulet from the University of Surrey was held on 13 December in Calonge as part of the Tourist Board’s “Tourism 360º” training programme. The workshop was designed to teach participants how to improve company quality and competitiveness with clear examples of how to design activities and persuasively communicate them without large budgets or consultants.

The workshop was aimed at catering and tourism professionals as well as destination and heritage, cultural and natural managers.
