The Centenary Office has been set up to raise still further the profile of the Centenary of the Costa Brava, which stretches to the end of 2010.
MARCH 2014
The mission of the Office, which has been fully operational since 11th March, encompasses four main areas:
- To define the main action strategies in a clear and convincing manner.
- To contribute to the research and management of sponsorships.
- To develop the capacity to communicate.
- To coordinate the Centenary actions with the towns and organisations of the Costa Brava.
The Patronat de Turisme aims for the Centenary Office to be an efficient vehicle for raising the profile of both the celebration and the Costa Brava, under the conviction that success depends on the collaboration and involvement of one and all.
This profile raising is not possible without the full support, professional commitment and awareness of public bodies including Turisme de Catalunya and Turespaña, the town councils of the Costa Brava and business network related to the tourist sector.
