Support for tourism initiatives

Cultural, gastronomic and sporting events with a high international profile boost tourism in the destination

The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board is committed to developing new tourism products to widen and complement the range of products offered by specific segments, while making the most of our natural resources and tourist facilities. It is therefore supporting a number of public and private cultural, gastronomic and sporting initiatives designed to help boost tourism in the destination, and which have a clear international profile. These include Lloret Formula Weekend, coinciding with the F1 Grand Prix; Swim the Costa Brava, an open water swimming championship to be held in Palamós and l’Escala; the Professional Windsurfers Association Catalunya-Costa Brava World Cup; and an innovative gourmet showcasing project, VOL Espai Gastronòmic.
