Support for tourism initiatives
Cultural, oenogastronomic and sporting events raise the destination’s profile and boost summer tourism
The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board supports public and private cultural, oenogastronomic and sporting initiatives designed to help boost tourism in the destination, and which have a clear international profile. This summer these included the Castell de Peralada Festival, the Sounds of the World Festival, the International Mapping Festival of Girona, the Gastromusical festival in L'Escala, the Girona Film Festival, the Kayak Freestyle World Championship in Salt, and the 25H Mountain Bike race in Pla de l'Estany.
The Board is committed to developing new quality tourism products to widen and complement the range of products offered during the summer season, while making the most of our natural resources and tourist facilities.
