Support for destinations

Cultural, wine and gastronomic, and sporting events raise the destination’s profile and boost tourism in autumn

The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board supported public and private initiatives that helped boost the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees brands.

These initiatives included: the closing ceremony of the Golfy Cup Catalogne; the premiere of the film “Dos a la carta”, directed by Robert Bellsolà; a series of workshops entitled “GIR 180 graus”; and a campaign to publicise European Wine Tourism Day by the DO Empordà Wine Route Club.
