115 tourism professionals participated in five specific courses to improve their professional skills


The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board stepped up its training activities in March, organising a number of specific courses designed for directors, technicians and managers of tourism companies and organisations in Girona.

This month’s activities included a workshop on “LinkedIn for tourism professionals” focused on new technologies and brought together nineteen people from establishments, companies and municipalities that offer tourist activities; a two-day course on “Spa Management” for 10 hotel and spa managers and members of the Board’s Health Club; a three-session course on “English for Wine-lovers” for members of the DO Empordà Wine Route Club; a workshop to present the “European Cultural Routes” promoted by the Culture and Identity Club brought together 43 people, and, finally, a workshop focused on “Cultural and adventure tourism. New products for new markets”, organised by the Nature and Active Tourism Club, was attended by 32 professionals. All are part of the Board’s pack of training courses designed to improve the professional skills of tourist agents in Girona.
