Around a hundred Norwegian travel agents show interest in the Costa Brava’s tourism offerings
The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board participated in the roadshow organised by Antor Norway (a network of local tourism promotion offices and embassies based in Norway) in the cities of Bergen, Trondheim and Oslo from 27 to 29 August. The aim of the event was to promote the culture, nature, food and wine and sustainable tourism offer of the Costa Brava and the Pirineu de Girona to around one hundred travel agents from the Scandinavian country.
The Norwegian programmers were interested in learning about proposals for unique and multigenerational experiences related to local culture and activities in areas of natural interest. The meetings and networking sessions were attended by travel agencies and programmers like Berg Hansen, American Express, Travelmate, TUI Norway and Traveldesign, among others.
This action was planned as part of the organisation's 2024 Action Plan and aims to attract visitors from Nordic countries to destinations in the Girona area, taking advantage of their greater flexibility when it comes to selecting holiday periods and their high purchasing power.
