Restalo on the website

Twenty restaurant owners, hotel owners and hotel and restaurant associations of the counties of La Garrotxa, El Ripollès and La Cerdanya show an interest in joining the website restaurant booking engine

On 9^th February, the Patronat de Turisme Costa Brava Girona and Restalo.com gave a presentation of the restaurant booking engine incorporated within the www.costabrava.org tourism portal to businesspeople from the counties of La Garrotxa and El Pla de l’Estany. The presentation was given at the headquarters of the County Council of La Garrotxa. Twelve businesspeople from the restaurant sector and representatives of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of La Garrotxa attended the information session held by the Patronat.

The following day, 10^th February, another presentation took place at the headquarters of the Consorci Ripollès Desenvolupament for businesspeople from the counties of El Ripollès and La Cerdanya. Businesspeople from the restaurant and hotel sector, along with representatives of the Association of Bars and Restaurants of La Cerdanya and of the Hotel and Restaurant Association of El Ripollès, took part in the training session.

The presentations, which include a training session, aim to show restaurant and hotel businesses from the Girona area how to market their offer through Restalo.com, the booking engine recently incorporated by the Patronat de Turisme.

The third online booking service of the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona tourism portal was incorporated in November 2010. Restalo is initially offering 6,300 restaurants in Spain and European cities. It also provides businesspeople from the Girona area with an additional channel for marketing their tourism products and services.

On the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona website it is currently possible to book a table at 94 associated restaurants in the area. Restalo's booking management system enables restaurants to handle reservations, table availability, opening hours, special offers and customers, etc. flexibly and immediately on a 24/7 basis.

The next scheduled presentations of the restaurant booking engine are on 2^nd March, for businesses from the tourism sector in the counties of L'Alt Empordà and El Baix Empordà, and on 4^rth March in the county of La Selva.
