Joan Roca and Ferran Adrià promote Girona's gastronomy in London

The Patronat de Turisme has organised a promotional event for 30th April at London's Mandarin Hotel, entitled "breakfast with the stars of the Costa Brava and the Pirineu de Girona", hosted by Ferran Adrià and Joan Roca, for 62 international food and travel journalists which came from thirteen different countries.
On the same day that the prestigious Restaurant Magazine announced the list of the "world's 50 best restaurants 2012" at London's historic Guildhall, where the restaurant El Celler de Can Roca from Girona consolidated its second place in the world rank, the Patronat de Turisme developed a promotional event to publicise the destination among leading influencers and journalists in the fields of gastronomy and tourism.
This initiative, promoted and managed by the Patronat de Turisme, aimed to use Girona's gastronomy and two of its most iconic figures, Ferran Adrià and Joan Roca, to make influencers and media outlets from all over the world aware of the tourism offer of the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona destinations.
