Promotional activities for consumer motivators

24 travel agents, four journalists and two international bloggers visit the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees


Ten Eastern Europe travel agents specialised in luxury tourism and business travel agents and 14 agents from the Swedish company Scandjet visited Girona towns including Lloret de Mar, Girona, Calella de Palafrugell, Palamós, L’Escala, Besalú and Olot to get a first-hand look at everything the destination has to offer.

Four journalists from Aragon had the opportunity to visit Girona as part of the Girona 10 promotional campaign as well, a visit that resulted in articles published in La Vanguardia, Temps de Franja and Buena Vida in Zaragoza to promote the city’s tourist attractions.

American bloggers Hopscotch The Globe, with a monthly audience of over 60,000 visitors to their blog and YouTube channel, also visited the city of Girona to participate in active tourism in La Garrotxa with activities that ranged from a hot air balloon ride and a hike in the Natural Park to a visit to the village of Besalú.
