Promotion of sports tourism
The Board took part in two international sports tourism workshops and a golf action in France.
MARCH 2023
From 21 to 23 March the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board’s Sports Tourism Club took part in Sport & Events in Valencia, and on 22 and 23 March it attended the International Sports Convention in London to promote the destination’s sports services and facilities among specialised tour operators and media.
Later, on 25 March the Challenge des Présidents tournament was held in Poitiers and the Board’s Golf Club participated along with some of its member companies (Golf de Pals, Golf Empordà, Park Hotel San Jorge). During the event, co-organised by Golfy and the French Golf Federation and attended by ninety participants, all of them senior executives at French firms, a presentation was given on the destination’s golf options.
