The Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau participated in domestic and international events throughout July
From 8 to 10 July, the Auditori Palau de Congressos de Girona hosted the fourth edition of the Global MICE Forum, which brought together 120 participants from around fifty medical and scientific societies and associations and other sectors that organise conventions in Spain. The programme developed by the participants included two days of meetings and an intensive social agenda that involved discovering the city based on cultural and oenogastronomic leisure activities. In organising the event, the implementation of sustainability measures was taken into account in relation to accessibility, mobility, water and plastic consumption, and local products and services, with as the participation of the Ramon Noguera Foundation, among others. The Global MICE Forum Associations Girona 2024 will have the support and collaboration of the Girona City Council, the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau and the Catalunya Convention Bureau.
The Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau previously took part in The Meetings Space Summer workshop held in Amsterdam, in the Netherlands, which was attended by some eighty European event organisers and ninety suppliers from around the world. During the course of the event, meetings were held with 25 international event organising agencies interested in what the Girona destination had to offer.
