Pep Guardiola and Girona FC, ambassadors for the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees in Manchester.

On April 11^th - 12^th, the Tourist Board held a presentation of the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees for 80 UK travel agents and journalists in Manchester, with the participation of Pep Guardiola and Girona FC. The event was aimed at promoting Girona and the Costa Brava brand on the UK market. Before the presentation, a workshop took place between 13 Girona tourist companies and 65 travel agents and tour operators from the metropolitan area of Manchester so as to publicise the province of Girona’s entire tourism sector. This promotional activity was preceded by two presentations and a workshop for travel agents from the call centres belonging to Jet2holidays in Manchester and Leeds. The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board considers the UK to be one of the key markets to target and it will be the focus of the largest number of promotional activities throughout the course of 2018.
