Promotion in Sweden

The sensorial experience TastEmotion presented the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees tourist product to about sixty Swedish travel agents and opinion leaders.


APRIL 2019

The TastEmotion presentation cycle of the first four months of 2019 finalised on 10 and 11 April in the Swedish capital, Stockholm, with four performances aimed at travel agents, business tourism event organisers, travel journalists and bloggers. The event was attended by a dozen travel agents such as Thomas Cook, Airtours, Sunbirdie, TUI or Go in Style, 13 business tourism event organisers like ER Travel or Amex, and 26 opinion leaders, among which were specialised bloggers and journalists from media such as Premium Magazine, Gala and First Class Magazine. The sessions were attended by representatives from various tourism bodies and companies from Girona, such as Lloret Turisme, the Lloret Convention Bureau, Hotel Santa Marta, Hostal de La Gavina, Evenia Hotels & Olympic Congress Center, Alàbriga Hotel & Home Suites, Xon’s Platja Hotel-Apartaments, Hotel Marsol and the Castelló d’Empúries - Empuriabrava Tourist Office.   In line with the 2019 Action Plan of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board of the Girona Provincial Council, the finalisation of the eighth cycle of TastEmotions promotional presentations marked the closure of the first four months of the year, in anticipation of deploying the event in new markets, thus having an impact with influencers and distribution channels in the main outbound markets of tourists to the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees.
