Twenty travel agents and fifteen journalists will focus on the multi-product offer of the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees.
In early October, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board organised a promotional event aimed at around twenty travel agents and fifteen journalists specialising in gastronomy, tourism and travel. The goal of the event was to publicise the general tourism offer of the Costa Brava and the Girona Pyrenees.
The event featured a presentation of the destination and the latest news regarding new facilities, establishments and tourism experiences in the region, followed by a networking session with the participation of a dozen Girona-based organisations and companies: Camiral Golf & Wellness, Hostal de La Gavina, Sallés Hotels, Park Hotel San Jorge by Escampa Hotels, Evenia Hotels, Hotels CMC, Torre de Can Puig, Mas el Mir, Aqva Banys Romans, Maype - Costa Brava Luxury Cars, Visit Palafrugell and Lloret Turisme.
Among the attendees were travel agents from agencies such as Olivers Travels, Original Travel and Saga Holidays. Journalists attending the event included opinion leaders from media outlets such as National Geographic Food, The Sun, Wanderlust Magazine, TripReporter and BCC Travel.
The professional encounter concluded with a gastronomic appetiser for the attendees, prepared in collaboration with the Cuina de l'Empordanet group.
Following this initiative, familiarisation and press trips will be organised to provide British opinion leaders and influencers with first-hand knowledge of the destination.
