Promotion in Belgium

Forty Belgian travel agents who organise trips and family holidays show interest in the Costa Brava's family-oriented offer.

MARCH 2025

On Saturday 29th March, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board organised an event at the Pairi Daiza animal park in the Belgian town of Cambron-Casteau to promote family tourism aimed at around forty Belgian travel agents and media representatives interested in finding out about the range of tourism products and services aimed at families on offer at the destination.

The action deliberately chose a theme park to stage the event in order to attract professionals with their families and offer them a presentation of the destination followed by a programme of children's activities organised by representatives of Girona's DTFs. Representatives from the municipalities of Roses, Calonge and Sant Antoni, Torroella de Montgrí-l'Estartit, l'Escala-Empúries and Lloret de Mar, as well as from the Escampa Hotels, Melià Hotels and Roger de Flor establishments, also took an active part in the action.

This is the second such action carried out by the Board of Trustees in a theme park. In 2024, it successfully organised the event at the Beekse Bergen animal park in the Dutch town of Hilvarenbeek.
