hdr With the aim of promoting and publicising Girona and its five ski resorts as a tourist destination for skiers and visitors to the Catalan market for the 2016 season, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, together with companies and organisations in the Girona Pyrenees, have launched a widespread media campaign that includes radio, newspapers, television and digital media. Radio stations RAC105 and Flaixbac will broadcast four live programmes from the ski resorts of La Molina, Vall de Nuria, Vallter2000 and Masella in January and February on their respective programmes Fricandó Matiner and El matí i la mare que el va parir. The Pyrenees winter season will also be promoted through commercials on the 105TV channel, each station’s social media, and print advertising in publications including La Vanguardia, El Mundo Deportivo, El Diari de Girona, El Periódico, Sport and El Punt Avui. Likewise, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board regularly publishes content on ski resorts, local events and activities online and on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) with photographs, profiles and links to websites to increase traffic.
