Promoting business tourism
Actively participating in and re-establishing contact with the business tourism sector at Conecta and IBTM World.

On 2 December, the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau took part in an on-site promotional event in Madrid together with around thirty other exhibitors from all over Spain, including the Lloret Convention Bureau. During the event, a presentation was made on the range of business products on offer on the Costa Brava and in the Girona Pyrenees, and meetings were also held with around twenty specialised agencies who attended from the city of Madrid.
Subsequently, from 8 to 11 December, IBTM World, one of the most important international business tourism fairs, was held online. In the course of this event the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau met with around twenty agencies in the sector.
These two events served to both re-establish contact and meet representatives from the business tourism world and to foster new contacts for the destination at this difficult time for the sector. The professionals expressed their interest in the business tourism offer in the Girona region and, particularly praised the measures being implemented in the current context of the pandemic.
