Professional trips

Twelve journalists and fourteen tour operators visited the destination on press and fam trips.

The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board participated in the professional visits to the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees made by journalists and international tour operators in February. The three press trips scheduled for ten journalists from Germany, Russia, the UK and Colombia showcased the destination’s attractions, including Girona, the Dalí Theatre-Museum, Puigcerdà, the Girona Pyrenees’ ski resorts, golf courses and clubs and restaurants. Two fam trips were planned for Chinese travel agents and Russian tour operators. Participants combined visits to tourist accommodations with visits to the region’s cultural and culinary attractions. Organisations and private companies from the Girona tourism sector directly participated and collaborated on the press and fam trips.
