Premium and MICE workshops
Fifteen German luxury travel planners and representatives of event planning agencies visited the destination.

As part of the Premium and MICE workshop organised by the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board from 19 to 22 September, fifteen luxury travel planners and representatives of event planning agencies in Germany met with fifteen representatives of businesses and organisations in Girona’s accommodation, meetings and conference sector and incoming agencies. Some 200 meetings were held during this professional event, generating various direct business requests.
After the workshop and networking dinner held at Hostal la Gavina in S’Agaró, there was a three-day fam trip around the region during which the participants got to know various towns, hotels and restaurants, and cultural and wine-tourism spaces as well as enjoying wellness activities. Among those taking part in the fam trip were specialised agencies such as Luxus Ferien, Fit Reisen, Kultur Touristik, Unique Events, Reise und Touristik and Secret Escapes, among others.
