Online reputation workshop

Continuing with the Patronat de Turisme’s training programme, in March the workshops have begun again, with various courses intended to carry on promoting continuous education among professionals in the sector.


MARCH 2014

The first took place on 13 March and was devoted to online reputation. This workshop, which was attended by 33 professionals from the tourism sector, was taught by Victor Puig, a consultant in interactive communication, and Ramon Pons, EMEA hotel account manager at TripAdvisor. This course analysed the importance of good online reputation management, the basic methodology for working on it and the different existing channels for creating and improving image. The second part of the workshop focused on the tools making it possible to manage the profile and promote the establishment of one of the biggest tourism information platforms in the world – TripAdvisor.
