The ONCE organisation issues a series of 40 million coupons featuring the Centenary of the Costa Brava and announces the publication of a Costa Brava tourist guide in Braille.
The ONCE (Spanish National Organisation for the Blind) is taking part in the celebrations of the Centenary of the Costa Brava promoted by the Patronat de Turisme with a series of eight coupons to be issued in the months of June, July and August 2009.
Each coupon displays the Costa Brava Centenary logo together with a scenic image of the area through which the natural, scenic and tourism attractions of the destination are publicised. In total, 40 million commemorative coupons will be issued.
This is the first time since the 2004 Forum of Cultures that the ONCE Catalonia organisation has issued twenty commemorative coupons for a single event.
Five million coupons will be issued for each draw. The Costa Brava Centenary series will include 40 million coupons in total, to be distributed throughout Spain. The draw is broadcast on television on the CNN Plus channel at 21.28 p.m.
