Book of 600 photographs from the Girona Pyrenees to the Mediterranean sea

Entitled The Mediterranean Pyrenees, this is the first book to be published by Omega in conjunction with the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board of Girona Provincial Council. It features natural, heritage and human landscapes from the Girona Pyrenees to Montseny, from north to south, and all the way to the Mediterranean sea.
The book includes over 600 high quality photographs devoted to Cerdanya, Ripollès, Garrotxa, the inland part of the county of Selva, the mountainous areas of Alt Empordà and as far as Cap de Creus. It is a superb photographic showcase of the area's natural environment and special characteristics, presented in four chapters.
The book's authors, Maria Geli and Pilar Planagumà, began the project in early 2012 and have taken a year and a half to complete it.
Girona Provincial Council and the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board have given the book an initial print run of 2,000 copies, publishing it in six languages. The entire project has brought together over 1000 high quality photographs, proving a valuable addition to the organisation's image bank.
