Josep Niebla paints for the Centenary of the Costa Brava

This year’s Reale Catalan Open golf tournament had an added attraction in the form of a mural by the painter Josep Niebla. The 32 metre mural, which is entitled MareNostrum and features professional golfers, was produced over the course of the tournament.

This mural, created for the Centenary of the Costa Brava, is a real novelty for elite golf tournaments in the country.

Josep Niebla is a painter, muralist and sculptor. He has been the subject of 219 individual exhibitions in 16 countries across Europe, Africa and America. He has produced a total of 22 murals.
