Over the course of the month the #culturajueva2013 competition was organised as part of the build-up to the European Days of Jewish Culture 2013, celebrated on 27th, 28th and 29th September in Besalú, Castelló d’Empúries and Girona. The photographs submitted to the competition took their inspiration from Jewish themes and/or the activities organised as part of the Days of Jewish Culture. The competition was also devised as a way of starting to create content related to the Jewish legacy of the destination in social networks. The photographs can be viewed at http://statigr.am/tag/culturajueva2013.

New competitions are scheduled for October in Caldes de Malavella, Banyoles, Arbúcies and Viladrau.

Anybody can participate and follow the activity in the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona social networks. The names of the winners of each competition are published on the @costabravapirineu Instagram channel with the hashtag #InCostaBrava.

The digital photo gallery http://instagram.costabrava.org stores, publishes and shares all the photos taken by participants in the “Instagram your city” campaign since January 2013.
