«Instagram your city»
Sant Feliu de Guíxols, Vilajuïga, Portbou and Blanes, along with the DO Empordà Wine Route Club, hold competitions for Instagramers

The digital photo gallery http://instagram.costabrava.org, a platform of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board for the storage, publication and sharing of all the photographs taken by participants in the "Instagram your city" campaign since January 2013, currently contains 22,379 photographs taken by 700 users who have entered the various photography competitions, along with the winning photographs of each competition.
In July the promotional activity "Instagram your city" took place in Sant Feliu de Guíxols (99 participants and 1,022 photographs, viewed by 32,481 users), Vilajuïga (64 participants and 662 photographs, viewed by 32,427 users), Portbou (57 participants and 637 photographs, viewed by 16,496 users) and Blanes (74 participants and 1,114 photographs, viewed by 36,640 users).
Following a break in August, new competitions are scheduled for September: Begur (7th September), Castelló d’Empúries (8th September), Roses (14th September), Llançà (21st September), L’Estartit (22nd September) and Sant Hilari Sacalm (28th September).
Anybody can participate and follow the activity in the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona social networks. The names of the winners of each competition are published on the @costabravapirineu Instagram channel with the hashtag #InCostaBrava.
