The Costa Brava Pirineu de Girona Golf Marketing Club takes part in the IGTM and meets with German, Scandinavian and British tour operators

From 15th to 17th November, the Costa Brava Pirineu de Girona Golf Marketing Club took part in the world's most important golf fair, the International Golf Travel Market (IGTM), held this year in the Belek resort in Antalya, Turkey. At the Catalonia stand, the Marketing Club took the opportunity to present the general golf offer of the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona destinations to professionals from the golf sector.
Several companies from the area were present at this professional fair: Hotel Peralada Wine Spa & Golf, Silken Park Hotel San Jorge, PGA Catalunya Resort, Torremirona Golf & Spa Resort, Empordà Golf Resort and La Costa Golf & Beach Resort, along with the Costa Brava Pirineu de Girona Golf Marketing Club, run by the Patronat.
The representatives of the Costa Brava Pirineu de Girona Marketing Club who travelled to Turkey met with mainly German, Scandinavian, British and other European tour operators to present the destination and generate business opportunities. Furthermore, press trips to the destination have been scheduled for 2012 involving golf journalists from Scandinavian publications.
