The 50th anniversary of Golf de Pals marks the Year of Golf and is commemorated with the #GOLFGASTRO Tournament

The PGA Catalunya Resort, Empordà Gold Resort and Golf de Pals courses hosted #Golfgastro from 20 to 22 April. The tournament, an event promoted by the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees Golf Marketing Club, was the first to mark the Year of Golf and the second event on the official calendar of celebrations for the 50th anniversary of Golf de Pals. A team competition, the tournament brought together 15 journalists and professional golf players from five countries to promote the destination’s golf attractions and Girona’s culinary tourism among influencers and opinion leaders. A number of prestigious media outlets participated in the event, including Golf Bladet and Journal du Golf, along with professional golfers Clemens Otto, Jérémy Belliard, Paul Barham, Robert Newberry and Gordon Grandison.
