The Costa Brava Legends Trophy tournament promotes the destination’s range of golf tourism options at a European level.

From 5^th to 7^th June, PGA Catalunya Resort in Caldes de Malavella hosted the first edition of the Costa Brava Legends Trophy. Competitors taking part included top ex-football players, professional golfers and various celebrities from the worlds of business and sport, like Pep Guardiola, Paco Jémez, Txomin Hospital and Dirk Kuyt, to name but just a few. The Costa Brava hosted the tournament with the intention of showcasing the destination and the golf tourism options available particularly among golf amateurs and lovers in the UK and France. The event was widely covered by the media and had a big impact in terms of making the brand known and publicity.
