The Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees’ tourist services and facilities showcased at Fitur in Madrid to consolidate the national market and recover the international market.

The 42nd International Tourism Trade Fair in Madrid (Fitur) was held from 19 to 23 January, with the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board taking part together with the towns of Blanes, Lloret and Castell-Platja d’Aro on the Catalonia stand. 

The Board had two information points from which to promote the range of tourist services and facilities offered by the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees among sector professionals and visitors, as well as publicising new features for the 2022 season.

During the three days set aside exclusively for professionals in the sector, the delegation from Girona held around forty meetings with representatives from international tour operators, event management companies, travel portals, media and publishing groups, with the aim of making contacts and studying collaboration proposals and projects to develop. At the same time, on Friday 21 January, a presentation on the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees’ inclusive services and facilities was given on the PREDIF stand.

During the weekend, the tourism fair opens its doors to the general public and the Board took the opportunity to promote outdoor activities, cultural and wine-gastronomy activities and wellness experiences in the destination.
