Participation in the WTM, Rouleur Live and IBTM fairs.
The World Travel Market, the world's leading professional tourism fair, was held in London from 6 to 8 November. The Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board was present at this fair on the Catalonia stand, sharing space with the resort town of Lloret de Mar, to promote the destination's tourist offering and gain insight into the trends for the British market in 2024. Meetings were also held during the WTM with a score of professionals working in the tour operator sector (Jet2holidays, TUI, FTI Group and Nekera), travel agencies and portals (Ávoris, El Corte Inglés, Destinia, Logitravel, Travix), and communication media (National Geographic, Iberia Media and Active Traveller).
Also in London, from 2 to 4 November, the Board's Training Camps club was present at the Rouleur Live fair, specialised in cycling and attended by the sector's leading brands, at which it promoted the destination's specific tourism products for cyclists.
And lastly, from 28 to 30 November, as part of the Catalunya Convention Bureau stand, the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau was present at the IBTM World, one of the top business tourism fairs, held in Barcelona. During the action, it met with about 50 agencies specialising in the sector.
