Cycling publication
The Tourist Board has produced a tourist map of road cycling routes in the province of Girona.

The map contains 50 road cycling routes around the region that can be downloaded using a QR code, as well as 11 mountain passes and brief descriptions of the technical characteristics. In addition, the fold-out map includes the region’s top 25 tourist attractions, advice on good practice, safety measures and a section of interesting facts. The map also provides details of a selection of incoming travel agencies, businesses and accommodation specialising in cycling. The publication incorporates comments by two internationally renowned former cyclists, George Hincapie and Johnny Weltz, who talk about their experiences of the destination’s cycling possibilities.

This publication was produced by the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board’s Nature and Active Tourism and Training Camps product clubs working in collaboration to boost cycle tourism in the region. A new Instagram profile @CostaBravaSportTourism has been recently published and a website specialising in cycle tourism will be created soon.
