Carnival Photography Competition

594 photographs published in the first competition for the best Carnival photographs in the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona.

594 photographs were entered in the first competition for the best Carnival photographs in the Costa Brava and Pirineu de Girona, which was held on the destinations' Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages from 24 February to 24 March. The winners of the contest received over 60 prizes, including meals, accommodation and activities. All the prizes were donated by the local tourism promotion bodies and companies who supported the competition. The aim of the competition was to publicise this holiday event, generate content on social networks, encourage users to participate, increase the number of followers of the destination's social network sites and raise the profile of the entities and companies taking part in the campaign by mentioning their profiles on social networks.
