Business tourism in the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees is promoted in Abu Dhabi

The Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau participated for the first time in the Confec Red workshop celebrated in Abu Dhabi from 4 to 6 February, meeting with twenty representatives from British agencies, companies and associations looking for new destinations and infrastructure for holding business meetings and events outside major European cities. Specifically, professionals from the British agencies and companies expressed interest in the extensive range of unique venues that the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees provide for organising product launches and gala dinners. These potential partners placed particular emphasis on the destination’s wine and food and its unique, authentic programme of incentive activities, and positively assessed the competitiveness of the prices of the services the destination offers to the business tourism industry. The event has already resulted in four British companies writing a specific request to organise conferences and meetings in the province of Girona.
