Fifty tourism professionals travel to Tuscany and the Algarve to observe good tourism practice

Within the framework of its programme of activities to support tourist destinations and businesses in Girona province, the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board organises market research trips for members of the Board’s product marketing clubs, with the aim of making the region’s tourism sector more efficient and competitive.

This autumn, fifty representatives of the Girona tourism sector, specialising in golf, wine tourism and active tourism, took part in three benchmarking or market research trips. The aim was to observe good tourism practices in regions which have features in common with the Girona area, in order to develop strategies to make the destination more competitive.
